Shimon Goldwater is a trainee solicitor at Asserson Law Offices. He graduated from University College London with a 2:1 in Law and completed the LPC with a commendation at BPP in London.

Shimon’s particular focus is on litigation and he is currently closely assisting the partners with a variety of complex cases including the following:

• Defending a claim on a contract for difference causing a total loss of an investment fund, alleging breaches of FSA regulatory rules;
• Defending a multi-million pound claim arising out of the break up of a business partnership.
• An allegation of professional negligence against a large firm of Solicitors in London , arising out of theft of funds required for a multi-million dollar building project.
• Dealing with a complex costs dispute concerning liability for c. £1.6m legal costs.

Before university, Shimon studied for two years in Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh, a Talmudical college in Israel.

Shimon commutes to the Tel Aviv office from Beit Shemesh, where he lives with his wife and daughter. He is an avid reader and enjoys classical music.
