Rivka Zolty is the first trainee solicitor at Asserson Law Offices, which is the second overseas law firm in the world to be authorised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority as a training establishment for new solicitors.

Rivka is a dual national French and Swiss citizen who moved to England in 1998. She completed her LL.B. at University College London, where she was awarded a prize in the law of taxation. She then achieved a distinction in the professional Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, London.

Rivka is fluent to mother tongue level in English and French and can switch effortlessly between the two. Her work experience whilst still a student includes spells in the property department at well-known West End practice Fladgate Fielders, where she developed a range of conveyancing and drafting skills;. at leading international City-based firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, she was exposed to high level tax advisory work, in particular VAT related work for major corporations; at Dechert LLP, a major City of London law firm, Rivka had placements in their property litigation and corporate departments.

Although the placements led to offers of training contracts, Rivka chose instead to move to Israel and joined Asserson Law Offices. She has been involved in complex negligence litigation in the Cayman Islands and in general commercial litigation, including acting for the leading London search engine marketing agency on several matters.

Rivka has also gained experience in the corporate department on employment matters, intellectual property and financial services.

Rivka is married with one child and lives in Israel.
