David Prais is a real estate lawyer in practice at Asserson Law Offices in Israel and the UK.

Prior to joining ALO David had over ten years experience in English real estate law having trained in a 'City' firm, subsequently joining a top UK national legal practice where he was appointed partner in 2005.

David graduated with 1st Class honours degree in German and Hebrew from Manchester University before he obtained the Graduate Diploma in Law Common Professional Examination and then the Diploma in Legal Practice both with Commendation from Manchester Metropolitan University.

David has experience in a wide range of high profile and complex real estate transactions. He has particular expertise in investment acquisitions and disposals, forward purchases and fundings, bank financing, site redevelopment and leasing work. His varied client base includes property companies, pension funds, retailers and developers. David's recent deals include:

• the purchase and leaseback of a portfolio of 15 car showrooms to a value c.£50m;
• the acquisition by way of a forward purchase of new law court buildings to a value c.£15m;
• the acquisition and forward funding of several office and industrial investments
• the entering into a pre-let agreement and subsequent acquisition by way of a new lease of a 400,000 square feet bespoke distribution warehouse for a UK national retailer;
• the management of programs for disposal of multimillion pound portfolios of office and retail investments;
• Site acquisition and subsequent construction of city centre residential development together with unit sales;
• Acquisition on behalf of household name retailers in their roll-out of stores in UK.

David is married with three children and lives in Israel.
